The Rotary Club of Saskatoon's Minstrel Show productions were to prove to be a major fundraiser for the organization when they were first stated in 1925. The entire casts of the productions were made up Rotary Club members, who also staged, produced and directed the performances.

The photo above was taken during the 1930 production of the show at the Empire Theatre; only a few members can be positively identified, amongst those being: - Harry Hay (right centre, second row), Ivan Byers (Far left, front row), Bruce Symes (second from left, front row), Ralph Cantlon (third from left, front row) and Arthur Rose (back row, sixth from right).

By the mid-1930's, however, the minstrel theme genre was basically passé, and the club discontinued the shows.
