Innocent would like to help our Rotary Club by leading projects, committee work or financial support. Innocent sees an opportunity for Rotary to support newcomer integration into the Saskatoon community.
Both Samblo and Innocent are sponsored by Rotarian Claire Mugabe
Cindy Weekes
Cindy was born in Humboldt Sask. on October 31st so she says she has a bit of a fun witchy vibe being a Hallowe'en baby. She is happily married to her husband Randy (also a new member to our club) for 42 years. They have 3 children - 2 daughters and a son - and 6 grand daughters. Most of her work life was working in the school system as an Education Assistant for over 30 years. She retired in 2020 at the beginning of the covid years, spending the last half of that year at home in the office working on-line. She has been a member of the Catholic Women's League for 42 years, so not a stranger to work as a volunteer. Cindy enjoys traveling with her husband, building outdoor decor, crafting with her grand daughters and spending time with family. She is honored to be a part of the Saskatoon Rotary Club and looks forward to participating in its many worthwhile projects.

At this meeting, a cheque was also presented to Hope Restored Saskatoon in support of their education incentive program. Through their safe house and programs Hope Restored helps women escape sexual exploitation and trafficking. Hope Restored programs offer a safe environment which helps with their healing, transformation, personal growth and hope.
Join us in supporting us in this effort to make a lasting difference in the lives of women working towards a brighter future.
